Laura Dillard is an Office Assistant with RISE. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, with a concentration in Journalism, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at VCU. Dillard recently earned associate degrees in both STEM and General Studies. Previous research experience at prior institutions includes work on topics such as gender stereotypes and norms in comparison to children’s books. A strong interest in societal issues, progress, and communication contributed to Dillard’s interest in this position.
