Jaclyn Fierro-Jefferson, from Richmond, Virginia, is pursuing a Master of Public Administration. She holds a dual-degree Bachelor's in Urban and Regional Studies and Cinema from Virginia Commonwealth University. During her undergraduate studies, she was the Advocacy and Outreach Intern at VCU's RamBikes, designing educational materials and engaging the campus community around sustainable transportation and safety. In 2025, she led advocacy for the installation of a new bike rack on VCU's campus, and in 2026 she brought her skills to the Virginia General Assembly through the VCU Capitol Semester Program. At the end of her undergraduate career, she received the Carter G. Woodson Award for Academic Excellence in Urban Studies. Through the Wilder Fellowship, Fierro-Jefferson is committed to building trust between legislators, planners, and communities by using creative, educational communication strategies to advance sustainable urban development.
